Currently the Association boasts of over 500 member families and this number are growing. Our organization has been run by the members of this community for the past 50 years with increasing sponsorship from the local community and businesses.

During its 25th year the association wrote up its Constitution expressing its ideals of fostering the social, educational charitable and cultural needs of the Kerala Community in New England. An Arts and Sports subcommittee was started to keep the community's repertoire of musical, artistic and literary talents well represented in the various events.

The major events for the year include the Onam and Christmas Celebrations, Malhar, Annual Camp and Picnic. An annual directory keep the members in touch with each other. Other events such as fundraisers, movies, etc are organized by the office bearers to keep the community active during the year.

KANE also allows the youth of the community to participate via KANE Jr. This dynamic subgroup participates in the parent events and also conducts events of its own.
