Dear Friends;
The proposed plan is to have the following sections (This will be tailored based on the feedback collected).
This year also, we intend to commence the Malayalam classes in January, 2008 at Burlington, MA. The classes will be conducted biweekly, on Saturdays except those which fall during holidays/long weekends. Details and confirmation will be emailed as well as reflected on the KANE website (www.kaneusa.org). 1. Children (5 to 15 years) – Section 1 (Beginner) This class would expect zero to minimal ability to read or write Malayalam alphabets. The class will aim to teach students to read and write all Malayalam alphabets and small words 2. Children (5 to 15 years) – Section 2 (Intermediate) This class would expect that students have the ability to read and write all Malayalam alphabets. The class will aim to improve speaking, reading, and, writing skills so that students can construct difficult words and sentences. 3. Young Adult and Adult (16 onwards) - Section 3 (Beginner) This class expects zero to minimal ability to read or write Malayalam alphabets. This class will progress at a quick pace which will be set and adjusted based on individual student performance and expectation. There will be homework and reading assignments which will determine and enhance your progress. Students with a will to learn can expect to read and write Malayalam fluently within the academic year. There will be a fee to cover running expenses of the school (supplies etc) Your earliest response can help us to decide the commencement of the classes at the earliest. Please register your children and feel free to send your concerns and suggestions before Dec 15th, 2007. Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with 1. Name/Ages of prospective student(s) 2. Current Skill level 3.
