Akshara Malayalam Class 2009-2010 UPDATE!

KANE conducts 'Akshara' Malayalam language classes at St. Margaret's Church school on Winn Street at Burlington, providing there is sufficient interest from the members. Stay tuned for more details regarding upcoming class times and schedules.

Republic Day Celebrated and Akshara Classes Inagurated.

In keeping with the KANE agenda of developing and nurturing our children's interest in our cultural background, Malayalam language classes were inaugurated at the St. Margaret's Church in Burlington on January 26th 2008, alongside KANE's celebration of India's Republic Day.

Our Vazhayil Achan (Rev. Abraham Thomas),who was the function's chief guest, delivered a wonderfully poignant speech about our childhoods in India and the new connections that we have made in our new lives in this country.
